Cindy (C.J.) Simmers is the Executive Director of Senior CommUnity Care Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE). Ms. Simmers has been in this position since 2013. Ms. Simmers has responsibility for both PACE Centers is Montrose and Delta Counties. Ms. Simmers has been a resident of the North Fork Valley for over 25 years. Ms. Simmers raised cattle and currently enjoys trail riding. She has a degree in social work and sociology from Suffolk University in Boston. She was previously employed by TherEx, Inc. as Director of Clinical Operations for numerous hospitals throughout the country.
Craig Ammermann has served as Regional Director of Operations for Volunteers of America National Services since December of 2008. He currently oversees all health care program operations in Colorado and Arizona. Prior to relocating to Western Colorado, Ammermann worked in rural communities in both Minnesota and Iowa for a large, non-profit faith-based organization as a nursing home administrator. He graduated from St. Mary’s University of Minnesota with a Master of Arts degree in Health and Human Services. He earned his Bachelor’s degree from Bethel College in Roseville, MN. Ammermann is also a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator and a Volunteers of America commissioned minister.
